David Furman
David D. Furman, has a background in zoning, planning and land use law. He served as a member and secretary of the Bernardsville, New Jersey, Board of Adjustment. As an attorney he argued several land use appeals. He was Attorney General of New Jersey. As a Superior Court Judge assigned successively to the Law, Chancery and Appellate Divisions, he presided over multiple zoning and planning trials and appeals and wrote over twenty published opinions in this field of law. Since his retirement as a judge, he has been adjunct professor of Zoning, Planning and Land Use Policy at Seton Hall School of Law in Newark, New Jersey and of counsel with the law firm of Purcell, Ries, Shannon, Mulcahy & O'Neill in Bedminster, New Jersey.

Mr. Gibbons recently served as Assistant Counsel to the New Jersey Planning Officials and is a member of the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys. He has authored numerours publications on planning, zoning and governmental affairs and is a frequent instructor to municipal officials.
